Regional Day at Liphook Church Centre:

Keeping Spiritually Fit

We are very fortunate to have Jackie Long from the Bristol area coming to speak to us on this important subject. Jackie has been involved with prayer ministry for almost 40 years, initially through Wholeness Through Christ and then CPM for which she was a founder member:

“I live with husband Roger and Scamp (cat) on the outskirts of Bristol and am also a licensed Lay minister in our local church.  We are blessed with 4 lovely grandchildren who live locally.

As followers of Jesus, it is our desire to fulfil our calling as ambassadors of His love for mankind. God has created our whole being but as many aspects of our 'being' can be broken, we may ask how we can become, to use an over-rated expression, 'fit for purpose'.  We will think about how we might attempt to increase our 'fitness' to love and serve God more fully with our heart, soul, mind and strength.'

For anyone who has not been to a Regional Day before, these days are open to everyone. Our day begins with coffee from 9.30am until 10am, followed by a time of worship, the talk and an opportunity for prayer.  The session ends at 1pm, when there is time to fellowship over a bring-your-own lunch, closing at 2pm. There is no charge, but an opportunity to donate to the work of the CPM charity if you so wish. Donations are used to help towards the training of new Prayer Ministers.
